LOS ANGELES –Bellator is proud to announce a special collaboration alongside renowned lifestyle clothing brand RVCA to create an exclusive limited collection to commemorate Bellator's back-to-back events in Honolulu at Neal S. Blaisdell Arena on Dec. 14 and 15.
The limited-edition merchandise will be available at Bellator.com, RVCA.com and at official Bellator merchandise locations at both live events.
RVCA has long-been known for their support and involvement in the action and combat sports communities, including skating, surfing, Brazilian jiu-jitsu and MMA. Over the years, the brand has aligned themselves with MMA legends in BJ Penn and Vitor Belfort, as well as newcomers in Kona Oliveira and Dustin Barca, who both compete during this historic weekend.
Emanating from the Neal S. Blaisdell Arena in Honolulu next Friday, Dec. 14, Bellator and USO Present: Salute the Troops is headlined by a title fight featuring current lightweight champ Brett Primus(8-0) in a rematch against two-time former titlist Michael Chandler(18-4), while heavyweight icon Frank Mir(18-12) meets Javy Ayala (10-7)in a heavyweight clash.
The following night at Bellator 213: Macfarlane vs. Letourneau, fans will see the homecoming of Ilima-Lei Macfarlane (8-0), as she puts her undefeated record and Bellator women's flyweight title on the line against No. 1 contender Valérie Létourneau (10-6). In addition, the promotional debut of Lyoto Machida (24-8) will take place, where he is welcomed to the Bellator cage by former middleweight champion Rafael Carvalho (15-2). Also, the first-round of Bellator's Welterweight World Grand Prix rolls on when two undefeated 170-pounders, Neiman Gracie (8-0) and Ed Ruth (6-0), square-off for a future shot at the world title.
Bellator and USO Present: Salute the Troops will air on Paramount Network next Friday, December 14 at 10 p.m. ET/9 p.m. CT and will be simulcast on MTV2. The event will also have a special global simulcast partner, in the American Forces Network. The following evening, Bellator 213: Macfarlane vs. Letourneau will air exclusively on DAZN, the world's first truly dedicated live sports streaming service, at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT.
