15 years, both fighting and announcing.
Best thing about being so close to the action
Not just seeing it so up close, but I get to see the replay on the screen as soon as it happens, and we have that advantage as an announcer. Being able to feed off that energy from the crowd, and just seeing the small details that not everyone can see watching at home.
Favorite Bellator moment
AJ Matthews' victory over Rudy Bears. I helped AJ train for that fight, so it was so great seeing someone who has been with me since he was 16 collect a win on such a big stage against a tough veteran like Rudy.
Best story from the road
When we are on the road, Jimmy Smith and I roll together all the time, and it’s something I look forward too. Fighters will jump in from time to time. Rolling with Daniel Gracie was a highlight I remember. Anytime you can grapple with a Gracie or anyone that has that passion for Jiu-Jitsu is great.
Favorite movie
Anchorman. I watch it before every show on my iPad I want to be Juan Bergundy.
Favorite music
Love to listen to Stevie Wonder before I get to call a fight. If you can get motivated to punch someone in a fight listening to Stevie Wonder, you know you’re good to go.
