Q & A
What do you do in your spare time, when you’re not preparing for a fight?
Helping others getting better at MMA. This is my life, mixed martial arts has taken over my life and I love it.
If you were describing yourself as a fighter, what would you say?
Obviously good looking, but also always learning and evolving.
What does it mean to you to be fighting for Bellator Fighting Championships?
It means a ton. It has a lot of the top competitors in the world, and I’m so grateful for the opportunity
What are your thoughts on the Tournament Format?
Love it. No arguing on who the top contender is. It’s very straight forward, and whoever wins the tournament gets the title shot.
What would it mean to you to become a Bellator World Champion?
A lot. A total dream come true.
In 3 years, where do you see yourself?
Bellator Champ, and should be defending it by then.
What is your message to aspiring fighters that dream of fighting on a big stage?
I’m just a normal guy doing big things, so if I can do it, anyone can. Dedication, and follow what you want to do, your dream.
What’s the one thing you are most proud of that you’ve accomplished so far in your life?
MMA has been such a life changing experience. I’ve done quite well with it in all aspects of my life.
How did you get into fighting and when/where was your very first pro fight?
I got into it as a hobby when I was young to keep out of trouble, and watched martial arts movies as a kid. As I grew older, I just continued, and now I’m fighting for Bellator.
In a perfect scenario, what would be your favorite way to end a fight?
Knockout or submission, just want to finish to the fight.
